Traditional Bread Bowl

As Shown: 14" x 20" x 4" Wild Cherry

This is the most universal of all bowl shapes; every culture in the world has made this shaped bowl, usually as the bread-making bowl of the country. The shape is ideal for kneading the dough and also for letting it rise. Today, many people use this shape for serving the holiday turkey and dressing or for extra large salads when family reunions come along.

We do a large variety of sizes in this popular bowl, from individual salad bowls to extra large bread bowls -- big enough to feed the neighborhood.

We usually have some of this shape bowls available, although not in all woods and sizes. The most popular size, which is pretty-much the 19th Century size, is 14" x 20" x 4".
